When sensitive souls like yourself are inundated with negative news, it can be overwhelming on the heart and sometimes hard to remember that we have choices about which perspective to take.

This is not to say that we move into denial about what's happening, but we can find a balance point through the window of compassion in order to decide a course of action, which might be through prayer or donation or in-person assistance.

But we don't allow the negative to dim our light.

I believe that individually and collectively, our souls made a commitment to raise the consciousness of the planet through our thoughts, words, and actions. If this commitment is solidly our "true north," then all falls into place a bit more easily.
